Jen & Andrew's Van Vorst Ceremony and Porta Reception

Jen & Andrew got engaged pre-pandemic & envisioned an intimate wedding from the start. They enlisted the help of the talented planner Bad Boss Bride to bring their romantic vision to life.

Jen got ready at the artful Canopy Hotel with the couple’s sweet baby girl alongside her, as well as several close family members. Meanwhile, Andrew prepped for the big day just a few blocks down at the apartment the three call home. The family’s sweet pup kept him company, as well as close friends & family.

The bride paused to dress the couples’ sweet baby girl Esme before slipping into her own dreamy wedding gown by Israeli designer, Tal Kedem.

We caught a few quiet moments in the bridal suite before Jen headed down to the car that would take her to Van Vorst Park, where she would walk straight into the aisle to meet her groom at the very end.

A lush set up created by Strange Vine Studio awaited them and Trio W played whimsical music as their guests eagerly awaited. The ceremony that followed was short & sweet, but nothing short of beautiful.

Following the ceremony, the couple spent some time alone taking bride & groom portraits around the floral park, which had a secret garden-like feel to it, before heading to the rooftop of Porta where their guests awaited. Once they made their entrance, the couple shared a special first dance with their baby.

Every detail was perfectly thought out, from delicate place settings, to personalized match boxes & take-homes for the guests adorned with big black bows.

The couple posed for some night shots before cutting their cake and noticed a butterfly had taken residence on their florals, enjoying the evening in their company.
