Grainne & Mike's Intimate Elopement at Lotte Palace & Central Park

Sweet Grainne & Mike call Jersey City home but are originally from the UK. The two met at work through mutual coworkers & decided to give each other a chance. The lovely couple decided to tie the knot during a pandemic & with all the travel restrictions, ended up planning an intimate wedding with just two guests.

The two got ready on separate sides of their beautiful apartment on the Hudson. Every detail was impeccably planned. Grainne wore a delicate gown by Rime Arodaky. She paired it with a pearl headpiece & a classic pair of Louboutins. The couple met on their building’s rooftop for a first look with a view.

After an emotional first look, Grainne & Mike headed to a stunning church on Hamilton Park. The two exchanged vows, exchanged rings & shed tears before taking the walk out of the church as husband and wife. The beautiful and traditional ceremony was live-streamed for all of their family abroad to look on.

Following the ceremony, Grainne & Mike headed into NYC to spend the night in the remarkable Lotte Palace Hotel before flying out west for their honeymoon. They twirled and laughed in the palace courtyard before hailing a yellow cab & riding to Central Park.

We followed Grainne & Mike around Central Park as they told us all about back home, their love story, how they spent their time the past year during quarantine & their plans for the future. The two were so easy & loving with each other.

We strolled to the Bethesda Terrace for some iconic shots by the fountain. The newlyweds danced together as a cellist played love songs nearby.

At the end of the shoot, we said our farewells as they headed to an intimate rooftop dinner to celebrate their new beginning. We were excited to follow along their honeymoon journey as they posted photos of their travels!
